The Bravo
high-pressure pump is a high-quality inflation device suitable for highly efficient inflation of all inflatable equipment. This type of pump is particularly useful for SUPs and drop-stitch kayaks. The pump can efficiently inflate to a maximum pressure of 29 psi, which corresponds to 1.9 bar.
The Bravo pump operates in Double Action mode, meaning the piston performs its task by moving in both directions—forward and backward. The Double Action mode significantly reduces inflation time, thereby increasing the efficiency of the process. The Bravo pump can also operate in Single Action mode; in fact, you can use the mode switch to switch from Double Action to Single Action. In this mode, the piston performs its task only during the pushing phase.
Changing the mode is useful if, during the inflation process as the ideal pressure is nearly reached, the pump begins to stiffen gradually. Setting the pump to Single Action mode will then require less effort. This makes the inflation process more comfortable and easier to complete.
The corrugated hose included with the Bravo pump features a bayonet connector specifically designed for high-pressure valves, which are commonly found on inflatable SUPs or kayaks. The handle also features a built-in pressure gauge, so you’ll always know the inflation pressure and won’t risk overinflating your gear.
