Internationally renowned street artist Eddie Colla has put his stamp on this stand-up paddleboard, which features unique and exciting graphics, a 10'6" deck, and a carbon-fiber paddle.
Eddie Colla’s style is straightforward and captivating at first glance. With its urban hues and dark undertones, it’s a key element of this new street art-inspired SUP.
Street art represents the free expression of an artist’s creativity without the constraints of museums and galleries. This freedom of expression is comparable to what one experiences on a SUP during a solo trip or a family outing.
The main technology we use in our inflatable SUP boards is 2LF - Fusion Technology.
Two overlapping layers of high-strength PVC laminate, shown in figures (E) and (F), are thermally bonded without the use of adhesive. This heat-welding process ensures that our stand-up paddleboards are up to 25% lighter than standard inflatable boards.
In other words, inflatable SUP boards made from 2LF material are significantly stronger, stiffer, and more durable. In addition, heat bonding is more environmentally friendly because it eliminates chemical and solvent residues that would otherwise be used in conjunction with adhesive.
The core of our boards uses proven Drop-Stitch technology, shown in Figure (D), which ensures rigidity and weight support once the SUP is inflated, thanks to thousands of textile fibers welded to the ends of the PVC laminate.
In addition, the rail reinforced with a double layer of laminated PVC, shown in figures (A) and (B), makes our paddleboards even safer and more stable.
In the case of dual-chamber SUPs, the second inner tube, shown in (G), is inserted inside the main tube and surrounds it on all sides. This second chamber provides additional buoyancy, which is particularly useful for handling any emergency situations that may arise while using a stand-up paddleboard.
