The semi-closed design gives the V-Shape Mono inflatable kayak a look very similar to a fixed kayak. Thanks to the Drop-Stitch technology used, the performance is comparable. The high inflation pressure of 12 psi has made it possible to create an inflatable, solid and high-performance kayak that can be easily transported anywhere and that can be stored in a backpack so it doesn't take up much space.
The flat bottom of the V-Shape Mono inflatable kayak helps increase stability when out on rivers with moderate currents, sea coves and lakes. The ratio between the length and width of the boat allows good stability to be maintained without compromising too much on the maximum speed achievable. Maintaining direction is aided by the centre board - which can be removed.
The total carrying weight of the V-Shape Mono inflatable kayak is 159 kg.
To increase safety when paddling, a quick release valve has been fitted to the bottom of the kayak to optimise the emptying of the hull when needed. The supplied seat is of high quality and more comfortable than that of conventional inflatable canoes.
Installation of the seat is simple: it is attached to the tubes of the V-Shape Mono kayak with special adjustable straps. Practical carrying handles and elastic straps are mounted on the stern and bow of the V-Shape Mono inflatable kayak for safe transport of equipment during a trip.
