That's because most of the paddleboard is covered in non-slip EVA foam.Five stabilizing fins, four fixed quadrifin side fins and one removable center fin, are ideal for controlling the board best in light or moderate current. Its speed is also good due to the 9'6'' (290 cm) deck length. The main technology we use in our inflatable SUP boards is 2LF - Fusion Technology.The two overlapping layers of high strength PVC laminate, pictured (E) and (F), are thermally bonded without the use of adhesive. Thermal welding thus ensures that our stand-up paddles are up to 25% lighter than standard inflatable boards.In other words, inflatable SUP boards made from 2LF are significantly stronger, stiffer and more durable. In addition, thermal bonding is more environmentally friendly because it eliminates the residual chemicals and solvents that would otherwise be used in conjunction with the adhesive.The core of our boards uses proven Drop-Stitch technology, pictured (D), which provides stiffness and weight support when the SUP is inflated thanks to thousands of textile fibers welded to the ends of the PVC laminate.The rails reinforced with a double layer of laminated PVC, shown in (A) and (B), make our paddleboards even safer and more stable.In the case of double-chamber SUPs, the second inner tube, shown in (G), is inserted inside the main tube and surrounds it on all sides.
